November 16, 2025 When We Gather in His Name!
Betty and I have just returned from Japan and South Korea, where we had not traveled before, and we are a bit exhausted.
However, I am excited to be back home and to share with you what God has given me to share today.
“For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I AM in the midst of them” (Mt. 18:20 AMPC).
When We Gather in His Name!November, ah November!
The time of gathering! We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessings and to give thanks for His bountiful blessings upon our lives! Of course, we don’t limit our gathering and giving of thanks to a single month, but there is more gathering of family and friends in November than likely at any other time of the year.
As disciples of Jesus, we do not just gather, but we gather in His name. What is His name? In Exodus 3:14, He told Moses His name is “I AM.”
In that name, we have the greatest power in all the universe—creative power! Healing power! Imaginative power! Problem-solving power! Debt-releasing power! And it is all available to us, especially when we gather together in His name! In Matthew 18:20, He said, when you gather in My name, I AM in the midst! Whew! We have all that power in our midst! Even if it is just husband and wife, just brother and sister, or a whole host, when we gather in His name, He, the I AM, is in the midst, releasing to us power to overcome and conquer anything!
